I've searched on here and I would like to know what would cause this. It seems to slide/shift when my rear end goes over bumps, more on the right side than the left. It gets real shaky left to right. Could it be a bad sway bar or shock?

The mostly likely cause is worn shocks...especially if they've never been replaced.

get a 4 wheel alignment. either that or you got bad struts.

Agreed, shocks and struts around, along with an alignment. We had that issue with the Tempo before the new struts went in.

I think a new set of rear shocks and mounts will solve your issue. New front struts would help, but probably aren't necessary for this particular problem.

I had the exact same rear end slide. Replaced both back shocks that problem went away.

Sway bars don't need replacing unless you break them. You might need new bushings and/or endlinks.
Also, you don't have a rear sway bar, only a front.
