Door Panel
Does anyone have pics or instructions how to remove the left door panel for 05..The dealer didnt snap on right and it squeaks and rattles. I want to do it myself so I know its done right this time. I think they forgot to snap something in the middle.

Re: Door Panel
You can find what you need within this:
viewtopic.php?f=43&t=11470
My initial guess would be that the two metal center clips were either 1) Not pushed back in fully, or 2) not moved from the door pad back to the door, prior to reinstallation.
If the problem is #1 above, you would be able to seat the door pad fully by firmly pushing on both ends of the door latch and listening for a securing click. Otherwise, you will want to remove the door pad and reinstall as per the directions in the above-linked procedure.

Re: Door Panel
Thanks for the advice and the pics. That's exactly what was wrong. The dealer did not attach those 2 metal clips in the middle of the door. Now all is good and no more rattle

***wonder why dealers can charge the big bucks when they don't even know how to put on a door panel***

Re: Door Panel
I know that's right!!! Just glad it was under warranty. My warranty was getting ready to expire so I refinanced my car and bought another extended warranty for 3 yrs or 50k miles. Covers everything but normal wear items and it's only $50 ded.

Re: Door Panel
What did they have the door panel off for? If they removed the water shield, chances are that is put on incorrectly as well.

Re: Door Panel
The watershields adhesive isn't just a peel and stick that works multiple times. If it gets any dirt or dust, it will not stick. Chances are you are going to have leaks unless the adhesive was replaced.
