95 lesabre abs relay
Co worker has an old 95 lesabre, abs has failed, he wants the light off for good. I've done this many times on this generation of car, but I can't find which relay is the ABS relay. It has always been with that bank of relays on the firewall under the hood in my bonny, and my two olds eighty-eights... is it in a different spot on this buick? Which relay? Thanks. Mike

Remove cluster. Remove bulb. Black tape over the bulb hole so cluster lighting doesn't leak through. Cluster back in car. Problem solved.

Yes, that would work. So would crushing the car! Trying to help a coworker during my lunch, pull the correct relay and underdash fuse can get it done in 5 - 10 minutes. Can pull all the relays out and find the correct color coded wires for that circuit, or go by process of elimination, but thought maybe someone would know which relay it is, save me some time.

Re: 95 lesabre abs relay
The FSM gives the location as the maxifuse relay center under the hood and 'identify the relay based on wire colors from the schematic in this section'.
Lucky for you, my 95 FSM covers the LeSabre as well as my SLEeper.
The wire colors are: Brown, red, black, pink, red.
That's your relay.

Bill:
Yep, I have the service manual for a 95 also, and I checked it out last night. My hope was that one of you gearheads would say "3rd one in from the driver's side"... I guess I was just being lazy. Anyway, just did it, took 5 minutes. Thanks! BTW, it IS the 3rd one in from the driver's side on this car.

Re: 95 lesabre abs relay
95 was the first year that made most of the component locations common between the Bonneville, 88, 98, LeSabre, and Park Avenue. I remembered that after my first reply, and pulled my books out.
