Intermittent heat and blinking temperature

Post by evelandba »

Still finding all kinds of bugs in my Bonnie. Now I have heat from time to time (when she feels generous) and the temp on the display blinks on and off for a minute or two. When she does give heat, it's awesome. But it getting less and less common for me to get it. What could it be and how do I fix it??? 1994 Bonneville SSEi :dontknow:

Is this the same SSEi with the temp gauge problem, Temp light blinking? No temp light on SSEI...I would check the coolant level and thermostat then follow the "Coolant Fill Procedure" in tech info.

I meant the temp reading on the digital display for the heat/AC blinks on and off.

The temperature flashing indicates an error in the system. With the intermittent heat, it's likely a problem with the air-mix actuator. This is a thread that may help you.
