cone filter? 99 buick regal gs
ok had the gutted air box and a hi flow filter on my 99 buick gs. and it runs fine tell i went to a pipe and a cone filter .and now the car has a miss on the topend. between 4000.and 5900. r.p.m?.like a misfire..?does the computer need time to readjust for more air flow or could i have uncovered a week fuel pump do to more air being sucked in..? i have no idea.

Lets see a picture. Swap your stock box on there and see if the misfire goes away.

went and but the stock box back misfire is gone .and i cant get a pic right now camera is broke..and sorry i posted in the wrong section please move it for me..

What brand filter is it? I'm almost thinking the filter you got is restricting flow at High RPM, causing your misfire...

sorry for the delay..the car was in a accident so been busy for a day or two..car is running good now drove it for about 45 minuets and it cleared up. and it is a k/n filter.? so i don't know what it was computer? or to much oil in filter it was pre oiled.
