90 SSE Hood release cable broken

90 SSE Hood release cable broken

Any ideas how to open the hood - I don't know how I did it - I Know the cable is broken and is now loose at the lever handle inside the car - - -

Thanks in advance for any info -

You can use a long screwdriver or maybe pliers to pop the hood release by reaching through the grill or up behind the front bumper.
