Hey guys, I need your opinions

Post by K-OtiK »

Idk if you guys remember me, but I've been out of the Bonneville game for over a year now, my baby was taken from me. and I REAAAAALLY miss that car, especially now I have my daughter who is now 13 months, i could really use my 4 door, my beautiful fast 4 door :( but anyways I've been really trying to get me another Bonneville, or even a GTP, but i am soooo broke as far as cash goes, im selling my Lincoln, but once I do I'm definately trying to buy another Bonneville

what im getting at is i found one very local to me, he says it has 150k and he's only asking 2500

http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/1969875955.html

is it just me or does this sound like a crazy low price even for the mileage? idk Im just scared, but im so desperate to get another 2000+ SSEi or a 97+ GTP

idk guys, help?

150k is nothing if it runs good.

No, unless the trans seems to be in bad shape. My car has 167k and doesn't burn a drop of oil. I'd be most worried about the trans and things like wheel hubs, struts, etc.

Just some general life advice, if you don't have the money, don't buy the car, as good as the deal might seem.

$2500 seems like a steal, almost too good. You can assume there are some underlying issues. Have you seen the car in person yet?
