at a start of this scenario the idle was gonne but the runned at a little throttle and then the speedometer died ,, sudenly the speddometer started up again and the car died and the relays started this clicking sound ,,, if someone has had this and found out where to fix it i would be lots grateful

Remove the sill trim plates (between the carpet and door opening). Dig in there and find the black plastic ground busses. Pull the shorting plates/blades out and clean them. Cut the insulation back about an inch from the battery cables. Is there corrosion working it's way up inside the cables? It will not be visible from the outside. You have to remove the boots and cut the insulation to find it.
The ground busses are tucked under the edge of the carpet on each side of the car (front).

WELL it´s time to update this old topic ,, this car as it consurns is my own and i work as a meckanic and by that it means that it got low priority to get fixed ( customer car always first ) well i checked out al tips il got but there where not any of them
i hooked up my scanner to find out if i could give me any codes and then il found out that i couldent connect to the ecm
becuse of that i´m running a smaller pulley and runs on E-85 i need moore fuel so the chip is changed in the ecm ,, this is done by one of those adapters that you still use the stock chip and combine it with your own
finaly il picked the adapter out of the ecm and yust installed the stock prom ... and "voila"
it runs like a dream again , but now i need to find out what went wrong at a astart with al this .. i have my frontsheild busted so i have the car at the shop right now but as soon as il get it back i will look up if it might are the adapter or the "burned" chip that is the main problem
you learn as loong as you live ..
is there someone here that can help me with a good chip to get some moore fuel for my car , i will also need some moore spark advance ( thats the great benefit of E-85 ) it comperes to 104 octan here in europe so you can get quite wild on the the set up and still get nice emissions )
