If anyone here has these installed or has experience with them, I'd love to hear from you! I'm trying to figure out what the spring rates are on the springs that come on these and haven't had any luck so far. I emailed Monroe twice and called tech support with no success. What I'd really like to know is if these are more similar to FE1 or F41. If you have any experience with these, let me know how they compared to your original suspension (and what that was) and if you're satisfied!

I'm not sure which is the 'performance' RPO code, but the quickstruts have the 'standard' spring. It was NOT a even replacement with the spring on my SSEi, so I just purchased the regular strut, and re-used my original springs.

The new struts make my Bonneville feel years newer than it did with the beat-to-death OEM struts. I had considered replacing the springs while it was all apart, but didn't, and now don't regret that decision at all.

How was the install? Straightforward?

Also, did you get a chance to drive/ride in the cars after the install? I am actually hoping they are closer to the softer FE1 as I'm not trying to turn my Buick into anything but a Buick.
