Transmission oil change and maybe AT problem? - PLEASE HELP!

Hi!

On my Buick PA 3.8i 92 i become AT problems -> when i give from P to D and want to drive the AT switch NOT to the gear and the car not run - ist like on N or P -> the engine make some torque ant nothing is happend its NOT every time but i have 2 times somthing like that - i must switch to 2 on AT then with little boom the AT make that gear on and i can switch to D and drive without problems ... any ideas

My way is to change the AT oli to Valvoline Max Life ATF - is somwhere any manuals best with pics how to do that??? i have been bay the oli and filter now i must make the change

Good choice on the Maxlife ATF. I'm using it in my Buick, and it's shifting better than the Dex-VI that was in there before.

It sounds like a switch issue, or maybe the transmission is just tired. Who knows...
