tired of engine

Talk about modifications, or anything else associated with performance enhancements. Have a new idea for performance/reliability? Post it here. No idea is stupid! (please use Detailing and Appearance for cosmetic ideas)

Amen to this. We're not trying to be mean here - we can't help you if we don't know what you're trying to say.

The problem is that snippets of the story are spread across 3 other topics, and not all in one neat little package.

Instead of completing one topic, we're just moving onto the next, then the next. We've asked for pictures to help out and got none. Supposedly from what he knows, there's a Northstar in it and no trans/axle/etc change (which would be impossible or next to impossible), wants to go back the l67 cause whatever trans was in there, he thinks broke. We're trying to get pictures because apparently his father did most of the work and he's not too sure of any of this (or at least comes off this way). With pictures we can determine if this car already had a major rewire/PCM change, what transmission is currently in there, axles, mount points changed, etc etc (you get the picture here). This could be one giant mess, or it could be more simple than it's been said to be. Until we see it though, it's pretty pointless IMO to continue speculation and guessing.
