Interest in an LSD

Post by myfirstbonnie »

Is there anybody interested in getting an LSD for their 4T65e-HD? These are the same ones that Paul (silverbullet) and Bill (Willwren) are running. The cost is $599 with a 10% club discount making it $550. If we order 5 he will give us a 15% discount.

I might be interested? however, I had heard these units are not as strong as the stock hd Diff? And how do they compare to the GM racing version?

I would also like to hear from others about their experience.

What time frame are you looking to make this purchase?

Let me know your thoughts.

Michael.

Right now, the only ones I know running these are Willwren and Silverbullet (Paul). Paul has the street version which he no longer makes and Bill has the strip version. I have driven Bill's car and it definitely has a quicker snap on the wheel returning after a turn and does rather well under moderate acceleration. He already blames me for the sleeper's tranny. :laughing3:

As for a purchase time, nothing yet. I personally would be doing the core fee and sending him mine. I want to make sure I have a diff to put in before I take the car down.

The differences, I am not sure of. Maybe we can turn this into a debate and maybe throw up some other options. If you know of any information or other resources, post them up here. I am open for suggestions.

I saw this topic earlier but I thought your were looking to get one sooner rather than later so I didn't bother posting. But if this is for a future purchase I'd be interested. But probably near the end of the summer or fall before I would.
