rough running and bad milage

Post by trf_ssei »

i left work today car was running normal, got on the highway passed a truck and then set cruise.(i stepped it to the floor when passing) after setting cruise the car was jerky and sluggish. it barley wants to move unless i step on it then it goes like normal. sounds like its not running on all cylinders at idle or low rpm also using fuel like its going out of style. please help need to go to work tomorrow. newer plugs wires coils and air filter 98 ssei. basicly it runs normal if i put it to the floor otherwies its crap.
If it were quick and easy everyone would be doing it!

Check your coolant level and keep a sharp eye on it. Pull a couple front plugs (all 3 would be best) and smell them.
