Gaskets, Supercharger Coupler

Post by tripscarcare95 »

Anyone know any good companies to deal with for gaskets. Im waiting to do my lower intake, but the dealer is backordered for the next month.

I need to purchase supercharger gasket, 2 yellow orings, throtle body, and that vaccum one on top of the supercharger.

Any links would be excellent,

Im also looking for a supercharger coupler for a series 1 as well as a new drain plug. Time to rebuild the old.

Thanks

You don't have to worry about gaskets like us with series II's have. Go to a local parts store and get Fel-Pro's. I think the couplers are the same, but i am not 100% certain, from S1 to S2 superchargers. I know Canadian Supercharger sells them, and they're a vendor here. There's a link in the links section at the top of the page

Felpro is fine for the gaskets on a Series I. The orings usually come with the supercharger gasket, but check to make sure. I haven't found the vacuum manifold gasket seperately. I've only seen it with top-end gasket kits (head or LIM up), which is more or less what you need anyway. It'll probably come with some heater line orings, LIM water jacket gasket and a couple other small things.

I don't know if Rolling Performance ships to Canada, but they've got the coupler and plug as well.

Rock Auto has your TB gasket ACDelco 40746 for $6.93US. It's listed under Fuel/Air-TBI gasket kit.
Right below that is the plenum gasket kit (supercharger gasket) Go with felpro, but both have the o-rings.

Rolling Performance or INTENSE will have the coupler, it's the same for S1 and S2.

Click on the link in my sig for the drain plug. Contact www.canadiansupercharger.com and he'll send you a magnetic plug (very inexpensive). The procedure is under 'nosedrive drain' on the supercharger website in my sig.
