How can you get the pulley off for replacement, it’s making noise. We tried a normal puller but had enough pressure on it the pulley started to bend. Do I have to buy a special tool or is there a simpler way? Tired of all my questions yet? I really do use the search function first but the right information seems hard to find. I even went on the 3800 supercharger website about nosecone rebuilds but it doesn’t show how. Anyway as always thanks for all the help!

Re: Removing Supercharger Pulley Question
Check out this link. It is for a very specific pulley removal tool for our supercharger pulleys.

Re: Removing Supercharger Pulley Question
Thanks for the info. I may have access to this tool for free locally but if not wouldn’t it be easier just to replace with the nose cone form my other motor? Just unbolt and swap right?

Re: Removing Supercharger Pulley Question
If you already have another nosedrive you could just swap them without the need to remove the pulley. What kind of noise is it making?? It could just be the coupler, which doesn't require you to remove the pulley either, you just have to remove the nosedrive.

Re: Removing Supercharger Pulley Question
I agree with the answer about the coupler. Does it sound like marbles rattling around? If so, that's the coupler. If you do decide to swap nose drives, you still should replace the coupler as they typically are lucky to make it to 100K. The Intense coupler is a better quality than what you would get at the dealer so that would be your best bet. You need to remove the nose drive to replace it so get some supercharger oil while your at it.
Hopefully, you haven't actually bent the pulley by pulling on the outside of it.
