Wait...we still don't know what IT is....other than it being an H-body....
I have some SC oil sitting on my fluids shelf that really have no business being here anymore if that'll help.

Brad, he's probably on the road by now. He PM'd me an hour ago and said he was hitting the road within the hour.

Talked to him on the phone. All is well, but the GPS was pissing him off. Gave him the FL number I knew for help with navigation........good luck Don.
Keep it safe, Frank.

Re: Need help with a couple repairs while visiting Florida.
Good afternoon all. I just heard from Frank and he asked me to give you an update. Yes, the GPS has been giving him a lot of problems. Apparently it told him to make a U-turn on the highway! Obviously that didn't happen so he's given up hope on that and is using his mapquest directions.
He has also run into some mechanical problems and won't arrive at his destination for a couple of days. And....on top of that.... he's having problems with the cell phone too! Poor guy can't catch a break. Anyway, he'll contact me again via payphone when he has a chance. He's asked me to let you know that he will contact you on either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning. I'll post again when I know more.

Re: Need help with a couple repairs while visiting Florida.
Thanks for the update Cathy. I took today out thinking he would be here, but I can't do that for tomorrow or Wednesday as well. I'm out of work at 3 pm local time and I usually get home before 4 pm. If you hear something, post it here if you can.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Cathy where is Frank located now? Does he need help? I'm in NY on Long Island...I can make a trip (few hours) if he's decently close on his route...

So, how far along the road did Frank make it? He has my cell phone # and address as well. If he is in the area while you are at work Brad, he's welcome to park it at my place and take a nap. I can usually be at home in 15 minutes if needed.

Re: Need help with a couple repairs while visiting Florida.
Frank has one issue fixed and will be on the road in no time. Don't ask me what it was because I only put gas and windshield fluid in the car. Oh yeah, and air in the tires. The rest is up to him. He's taking it easy and should be in Florida some time tomorrow. But thanks for the offer.clm2112 wrote:So, how far along the road did Frank make it? He has my cell phone # and address as well. I'll give you a hint. I can also cook a pretty good supper that'll make you wish you had worn pants with an elasticized waist. Any idea now?Jrs3800 wrote:Now was this from Cathy or Mick... Hmmm..

And yes, I am aware that Frank doesn't like to be in any photos. Rules were meant to be broken

Oh I've seen him in a photo before, but yes...he's very against photos. Camera Shy is an understatement for him...
