new wheels

Post by L36Pontiac »

my chrome stars are giving me problems with the chrome cancer so it time for new wheels. i have almost new tires so i gotta keep those. what do u guys think of these (hope it works) http://www.belletire.com/WheelResults.aspx. if not their a mkw m71 hyper black. i can get them for 450 mounted and everything. im just how sure how a grayish wheel will look on a dark navy blue car.

:stupid: I could say exactly the same...the chrome is corroding on the inside of my wheels too slowly. Chrome is a lot more upkeep. I think the wheels you posted in picture would look really good.

Scrap yard very heavily depends on what they are made of...they are chrome plated but chrome plated what? My ghetto golds got me $60 for all 4 total. Prices for the day also factor in...

Im not sure how those will look as a smaller rim. They look like they are made to be 18 or largers.

Hmm..yeah I like the style of the rims, but like you say if they were bigger they'd look better. Probably should be 17s or 18s? What are you doing with the chrome T-Stars?

I need to see them outside with clean tires before I can make any judgements. A picture with a flash in a dark garage with something super shiny is never going to give a good interpretation.
