Definitely a worthwhile mod. Tilting headrests make my truck so comfy.
I wonder if that's the same mechanism that tends to get floppy as others have mentioned?

Now that is the type of headrest that I am interested in. Function finally meets comfort and safety.

would bending the head rest bars for a perminently USEABLE headrest be an option? my 03 ssei do not tilt.

YOu could bend it at the base of the headrest, but it's up to you as to whether you think it's worth the risk. You go to far and the metal could be toast.
