leaking elbow

I seem to have a leak coming from elbow going to tensioner pulley assembly , atleast I hope it is just that.Has anyone changed this, do I just take off the tensioner assembly to change.2000 ssei

Jdq,

You will need to remove the alternator and the support bracket for the alternator and the drive belt. Use a 15mm socket to relieve the tension on the belt. There is a 15mm nut and a 13mm bolt holding the alternator support bracket.
There are two 15mm bolts and the one threaded stud holding the alternator. Make sure to unplug the wiring connection to the alternator (release clip)
Be sure to drain some of the coolant from the radiator otherwise you will have a mess.

There are three 15mm bolts that hold the tensioner bracket to the block. Once the bolts are removed, simply use a large screwdriver or small pipe and pry the tensioner away from the block.
Replace the elbows (dorman help # 47065) and reassemble.
