dash lights
hi i have a 1999 SLE bonny and i have ben haveing an issue latley altho it dues not do it all the time it dus it often enough to make me mad here is the problem i will go to get into my car at night and start it and turn my lights on and my dash lights dont go on but all the lights outside the car go on and the last time it did this i taped the top of the dash and the dash lights came on what could be the problem thanks guys for the help.

Remove the dash trim bezel (it just pops off with fingertips). Remove the headlight switch and check the connections for looseness or corrosion.
If there's still a problem, remove the cluster, you'll see all the screws you need to get, and check all connections to the back of that.
