I went to a friends house last night and the car was running fine was getting full boost,on my way home the boost gauge would not go past -2 psi and for obvious reasons had lost what feels like a ton of power.
Any suggestions to the culprit are appreciated.

Re: Lost boost
Probably either a leak or super bad belt slip. Check the main manifold vacuum "harness" that goes from the BBV to the FPR to the manifold nipple to the MAP sensor, make sure that that's all connected and in good shape. Then I would ensure that the BBV is actuating properly. If that all checks out, take a can of your favorite flammable aerosol liquid and squirt down around the LIM with it running and listen for any changes in idle behavior and of course, any visuals like bubbles. After that I guess I would check the belt. Run with that and see what happens.

Re: Lost boost
I would say to start by checking the belt. If anything, it is probably gone. Other than that, check the vacuum to the BCS and the TEE fitting under the SC snout.
Does it seem to idle and run fine other than the lack of boost?
If it just the belt and you can't get one right away, it is fine to run without it. They changed the design with the Series II and the water pump is not run off of this belt anymore.

Re: Lost boost
It was the plastic idler pulley, the bearings seized and the belt destroyed it!

Been there done that, you can get a metal pulley from Napa. I will see if I can locate the PN. It is part number 209766 and is for pulleys nuber 3 in the picture in the following link:
