7000 watt rms system 90% complete. and still adding

This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

7000 watt rms system 90% complete. and still adding

Post by 88bonnsse »

pics soon to come.

as many of you's no already my system is crazy. i was working on building my car up for local competitons.

well i just needed 1 more amp to complete my master peice.. another kicker zx2500.1 is all thats needed.

well i been saving and im only $150 shy from buying a brand new one fresh out the factory.

i currently have for those who do not no..

1 kicker zx2500.1 amp. ( each amp is rated at close to 2800 watts rms )
4 15'' kicker l7 2000 watt subs.
2 kicker zx650.4 amps. ( each amp rated at close to 800 watts rms each )
4 10'' electro voice ev dl10x midrange speakers
4 beyma 8mi100 8'' mid/high vocal speakers
kicker kx3 3 way active electronic crossover
old school rare alpine 3342 11 band digital sound field processor/ equalizer
alpine 9856 ipod built headunit
32gb ipod itouch
70 feet of huge zero gauge power and ground wire
upgraded high output iraggi 260 amp alternator
2 x kinetik hc1800 batteries soon to be 2 hc2400 batteries in the trunk
1 yellow top optima battery under the hood

alright like i said all of this is installed already and all i need is one more kicker zx2500.1 amp to be complete..

wrong.. i have decided that as soon as i get my second kicker zx2500.1 amp in about 2 months that i will be infact
switching my 4 15'' kicker L7 subs for 4 yes 4 15'' ORION HCCA 4000 watts each COMPETITION SUBS.

that will be going in the custom wall in my back seat..

yes it will be crazy and loud and dangerous but please keep in mind none of it is stolen.. so its safe to brag about it all..

and for all yous who want to know, yes i did spend the extra money on security.

wireless infrared camera's with night vision plus 3 motion sensors with the alarms for the motion sensors in my bedroom 2 feet from my pillow plus 2 very very hungry red nose pit bull's.. so think twice..lol

Sounds insane, but if it's your cup of tea, go for it!! Sounds like you've worked hard not only on the installation of all the stuff, but of saving up your money for it. Good luck with the final stages!

JUST a head's up I would hate to hear your stuff got stolen, Don't go too deaf my 12's have taken there toll.

For all the effort you've put into adding watts to your car stereo, I'd personally rather see you put a small fraction of that effort into adding capital letters at the beginning of sentences and when you use "I", apostrophes in contractions, and using actual words like "know" when that's what you mean, instead of "no".

I don't mean to flame *you* specifically, but there seems to be a direct correlation on this forum: As the number of watts in the stereo increases, the literacy level of that system's owner decreases.

:laughing3: I got a good laugh out of that.

Sounds like a sweet comp system, just be careful with it. Later on down the road when you start to appreciate sound quality over SPL and you build your SQ system, you're going to want to be able to hear. (in other words, don't destroy your hearing...it really can happen)

Good idea going with a wall in your back seat. You weren't doing yourself any favors cramming 4 15s in your trunk with a small box.

lol.. are you an english teacher or soming.. nah im not mad at all for you correcting me but im just curious..

anyway just to be honest i probally wont take the time to correct myself as my wattage will go higher in my car soon so there is no pint in trying to be smarter since my literact level will decrease as my wattage increases...

lol

anyways thanks everyone.. i will be borrowing my friends camera next week to take some updated pics as i still have not yet to replace my broken one.

and also to let it be known i do have actual ear protection that i got from someone locally that works for my local airport..
he is the guy that is out on the field with all the planes and takes the luggage to and from the planes..

so its professional high quality ear protection.. looks like ear muffs...

yeah i know.. i just wanted the extra cone space at first but now my wife has her own car so i can eliminate my back seat.

with just 2 15's in a 9 cubed box in the trunk i can flex open my doors and my sun roof with ease..

i could only imagine what 4 15's in a wall will do with 6000 watts rms.. :helpsmilie:

Yeah I'd think that two of those subs in the right airspace would probably be louder than 4 in a tiny box. It's pretty well known that L5/L7 subs need big boxes to sound good.

You going to do a full wall or a partial? What do you have as far as electrical? Probably gonna have to run a couple alts and a few batteries, eh?

Edit: Duh I just re-read the OP. I see your electrical now.
