Yep, the LN3 is still rolling along just fine and I've got too many other projets going on. I've still got the L67 waiting it's turn, just tucked away in the garage.

A heavier spring would ride hard all the time, whereas and airbag can be aired up and down to compensate for load, or lack thereof. This way it rides well whether loaded or unloaded.

Yep, that's the rationale I'm heading for. Several times Don and I discussed doing the F41 suspension. But in the long run, I chose to stick with the stock suspension rates but give it the option of stiffening up the rear end to cover loads in the trunk or on the trailer hitch.

Another option was the use of air shocks in the back. (They are available, at about $100 each...little more than the air bags.) I don't know how long the bags will last, but if they last longer than the strut cartridges, then it will be more cost effective to use the bags with stock strut cartridges.

as far as I know Aaron has run those exact bags for the last few years with no issues..
