Tires for the GXP

Post by CincyGXP »

It's time for new tires for the GXP (good riddance to the Goodyear RS-A's). What tires are you guys running on your GXP's? Best deal I could find so far are Dunlops Sport Signatures. Good ratings on Tirerack, good looking tire. Anybody ever run these?

Didn't we just have a thread like this either here or in the lounge a few weeks back? :booty:

Anyway, Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons here. They're a little costlier, but worth every penny. I liked them soo much, I even put a set on my GTO.

As to the Eagle GT's, Goodyear just came out with a new version. It is markedly better than the previous generation, of which was a slightly above average tire. They are quiet rolling and seem to last long (I have a set on a 2003 Monte Carlo SS), but definetely lack some of the higher levels of performance that some other options (including the F1), offer. And with this big car, you want all you can get.

I have Yokohama YK520s on my SAAB. They look great and so far, seems to be wearing well.
