I'll second that. The backseat in the Grand Prix is pretty much the coolest thing I've ever seen.

I wonder if those back seats would fit in a Bonneville?

J Wikoff, I saw one of your posts at the G8 forums and that made me remember this place. I would have assumed alot of Bonneville guys have either went to GXPs or G8s by now as well.

The CTS is like the grand prix where the STS is like the Bonneville.

Mother.....of......god!!! It's like my ultimate dream combo of cars! I like the CTS-V and all, but I love the looks of the STS so much better. And of course, I've been a long time fanatic of the rare edition of FWD GMs from the late '80s/early '90s 9 (see sig). That would be a perfect pair to me. The best of the modern day GM, and the best of the older GMs. God....look at the interior of that STS. I'd kill for one of those.

Is that the factory CD player in the TGP? Even with a tiny, blurry pic, I can tell. It's a good taste of how cool the old DICs were, too. The newer GPs absolutely PALE in comparison with the TGP on many levels. I need to do a write up for those cars. BTW, those buckets were available on all GPs from '89 - '93, and even the Cutlass Supremes have a very similar version as an option.

Oh yeah, and welcome LOL.

Great eye yeah it the factory CD player. The TGP has every avail option for that year I think. Wow you are so lucky to have a STE.

Yeah, the only things that were options for those cars was leather, CD player, and sunroof, so that was a fully equipped car. Leather and sunroof aren't that rare (mine have them, too). But car CD players were almost brand new at that point, and a very expensive option, so very seldom did people opt for them. What would be even rarer is if that thing still works. I have one in mine, but I actually bought it (have quite the stash of older high-end GM stereos from that era). BTW, those cars came out to about $28k fully loaded....in '89/'90!!!

I need to update my sig. I actually sold the TSTE at the end of last year, and the AWD 6000 STE just a couple months ago. :( The TGP is doomed to follow the same fate very shortly. I've been meaning to sell the other cars for years. I live in an apartment complex, so I have 0 time or place to work on them. Project cars + apartment living = bad combination. :(
