Weather trend is changing towards the warmer.......looks like 85-90 possible on Thursday.
I better check the SLEeper. Haven't driven it in a month.
TAYLOR: Your choice where you go when you and John arrive. You know the code, so come here if you prefer. Couch will be ready for you, but may be temporarily occupied by a recently gelded boxer (nutted yesterday). If you forgot the code, PM me.
For those that don't know, Taylor is my house-biotch again this year. It's invaluable having someone here that knows where everything is, and an extra driver in case the host gets too blasted at the KOA. Katie will be with us from Thurs afternoon/evening on through the rest of the meet as well. With Vince not coming, there is no major car work scheduled, so it should be relaxing mild stuff in the driveway at ZM until Celin pulls in with her 'motor sitting funny' and a busted nosedrive again.

Actually I think Celin has already fixed this issue. I got my car started today, but having another tranny issue. 0742 TCC sys stuck open. Might have to replace a TCC selonoid. So maybe major work after allwillwren wrote: so it should be relaxing mild stuff in the driveway at ZM until Celin pulls in with her 'motor sitting funny' and a busted nosedrive again.

That fricken' GP lower mount under the oil pan is a real doozy. Made double worse as you hear the nosedrive bearings grinding as you back it off the ramps when the work is done. Thank god for spares.
Which reminds me......no M90 spares here this year, but I DO have rotor bearings and nosedrive bearings which I can use to do an on-the-spot-rebuild if necessary. M62's are covered OK.

Yep, we fixed it there last year. Then found out that there was a bold missing completely, which pretty much ruined it AGAIN, so this weekends mod project is replacing it YET AGAIN (even though I do love working on my car in Wren's driveway --- my goal this year is to do as little to is as possible over there). BTW . . . . the speedo started wacking out AGAIN last week . . . guess I'll have to use Keven as a pace car again this year - those Bonnevilles do have pretty backsides, but 8 hrs of looking at?!?!?! --- it's a true statement "if you aren't the lead dog, the scenery never changes" - LOL

Just don't wash it Celin and there isn't a cloud in site for rain so maybe with a little luck you will get it to work.

Try to look at the advantages: With Keven in front of you, all the bugs will hit *his* windshield, leaving your car clean. You can slipstream him and get better gas mileage. And you'll just have to get used to staring at hisid97gtp wrote:those Bonnevilles do have pretty backsides, but 8 hrs of looking at?!?!?! --- it's a true statement "if you aren't the lead dog, the scenery never changes" - LOL
