I hope to get Heidi down the track in her GPGT on Friday and Saturday, so I'm hoping there will be some people around to keep an eye on the rugrats for at least one ride down the strip so I can ride shotgun and do my best impersonation of P-Mom screaming "GO! GO! GO! GO! GO!" when the last yellow light goes off. Alternatively, someone else can break her track cherry and do try their own impersonation of P-Mom. (Oh P-Mom, how are we supposed to break in the track newbies without you?????)

She keeps looking at me askance with a "yeah right" expression when I tell her she's going to race her kid-hauler. Little does she know the addiction of the adrenaline rush!
Katie is an experienced sitter as well (14). She'll be with us from Thursday through the end of the meet.

there is also the playground that is pretty enclosed there at the track which is easy to keep an eye on them.

Add my '85 Olds Toronado to the list of cars that will be there and racing...

...but we need to get it running right first. Put distributor replacement and probably more diagnose & tune time on the list of work to be done during meet.

2013 BMW 135i: 3.0 liter turbo I6, 7 speed Dual Clutch Transmission, M-Sport package, bone stock.

Sold, but missed: 1996 Bonneville SSEi, 3.4 pulley, Intense intake, Zilla Motorsports ported LIM.

Covered. The only question is whether we'll have both lanes or only one. It depends on our numbers as well as the Sportsman class.

We pay well for good child care!

Heidi called me at work: We've upgraded our tent from our Eureka Timberline 4 that she and I have used for 20 years just for the two of us, to a new Coleman Weathermaster Screened 6 (Got a good price at Sports Authority). I've never been a big fan of house-sized tents, but now with two kids, I might be able to get used to it. (They were out of them this weekend, she got one today.)

Old tent: http://www.amazon.com/Eureka-Eureka%C2% ... 141&sr=8-6

New tent: http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-WeatherMa ... 124&sr=8-1

-another to-do is checked off my list!
We're honestly not certain which day or what time we'll head out, since I'm working through Friday. We're just going to play it by ear, pack up the cars and the kids, and have a nice long safe 2-car drive. Tentatively planning to arrive at the KOA on Sunday before 9pm.

PDX...by all means stop by and rest your weary bones on your way up! You know we have plenty of room and the oasis is waiting in the backyard. Just let me know what your plans are because I believe we are gonna be out of town on Sunday getting back late Sunday night! Take care.
2000 SSEi (Silver Eagle) cleared corners (before accident) new LIM gasket, drilled 180 T-stat, new plugs and wires, new valve cover gaskets, new Supercharger gasket, third brake light overlay. Hopefully soon to start more mods for performance. Also, 2005 White SE totally stock and will remain that way!

Well, after a LOT of thinking and "what-iffing", I have finally given in and wanted everyone to know that I will, for sure, not be making it this year.

Like others have said, all the pre-WCBF posts make it even harder. I will be watching constantly to keep up with all that is happening and I will be missing everyone, tremendously.

IMPORTANT WCBF NOTE: Even though I will not be in attendance, I want to help out where I can and coordinating tehe "Phone List" like I have each of the past year's. I need everyone's home/cell phone numbers for those that are committed (or should be committed :ack: ) to attending WCBF '09. This is very important so all in attendance can get in touch with others beofre, during, and after the meet. I'll be sending out PMs to all those on the list and will send a PM back to those that respond with the list of everyone's numbers.

Have fun and take care of each other!

Yep, there you go. Thanks. I remember that now. Used in in 2007 and then I didn't go with them in 2008 and I regreted it.
