Cool Mods
Alright guys, I've been going through each thread and seeing some cool ideas.
Everyone list any mods that are unique, unusual, or just plain cool.
Just an idea to see what everyone's done.

Re: Cool Mods
In my sig, you can see a couple. Clear corners and 02+ SSEi wheels. Some things you can't see are carbon fiber interior trim kit, 1300 watt stereo, with the subs controled by the factory slider on the dash, hi speed fan switch, smaller SC pulley, full roller rockers, cold air intake, ported lower intake and exhaust manifolds, slotted brake rotors... and something I've got in the works for the tail lights. But those will have to wait till I finish stripping the interior, fix the seat recline, swap some leathers, recover the headliner, and shampoo the carpet. I think my taillights will be a hit, no one has done it before.

WHITE WHINE - 1992 SSE Supercharged 236.26 ci (.040 Over) 15.090 at 90.2 MPH on old engine w/ slipping trans & melted O2 sensor - Gen 3 M62 and matching TB, Gen 2 Pully, Zillamotorsports Ported LIM, YT 1.72 Roller Rockers, SII FPR & Injectors, Hypertech Thermomaster chip w/ 160 Thermo, TransGo Shift Kit, Infinity/Pioneer Speakers & a 10" Alpine Type R Sub, all the watts, 140 amp Alternator, Ricepipe CAI w/ heatshield, Pilot Angel Eye Foglights, Clear Corners, '02 17" Chrome Bent 5's, Magnaflow F-Body Muffler and Hi-flo Cat, Ceramic Coated Ported Exhaust Manifolds, Fan Override, Monroe Reflex struts, red calipers
2009 G8 GT - Sport Red Metallic, loaded, SOLO Axlebacks, Rotofab Intake, Tuned, autodim mirror, removed intake manifold cover, HSV GTS triple gauge pod, two tone red-hot shifter and HSV SuperSport steering wheel, GXP rear sway bar and diffuser, 3.45 diff and various Camaro suspension bits, LED Taillights

Re: Cool Mods
Its always nice to see but not in particular. I just want to see what everyone's done to their car in one place. It makes it easier to find cool ideas and its fun to see whats going around.TenGHz wrote:This site is full of unique ideas. Cool is subjective though. What you think is cool, the next person might not though.

Re: Cool Mods
Will's gauge pods are "da bomb"... but his iPod holder might be cooler.
My "cool mod" isn't there yet, but once student teaching is over, I'm putting my idea into reality. I've got some LED strips that I'm going to dremel into the front of my mirrors for the Mercedes mirror turn signals look... Can't wait to do it, but the student teaching along with my job is overwhelming at the moment.

Forgot about my ipod dock. But most people don't have the luxury of a couple of mills at their disposal.

Well, my car isn't a Bonneville so I'll hold off on some stuff.
But I like a pretty engine.
