No, this has been discussed before, IIRC. It doesn't affect bonnevilles because we don't use dogbone mounts, also IIRC.

The previous TSB was for trans oil on the exhaust manifolds from the A/T vent.

Yup, my GS was affected too. Luckily enough I had already replaced the valve cover gaskets before the recall was even issued. So, I got a refund from GM (it literally pays to save your receipts).

My bonne is at the dealers as we speak for a tune up and oil sender switch. I also wanted the valve cover gaskets done as mine do leak. The dealer told me to wait a couple weeks on the gaskets as a recall is coming with in said couple weeks.....
As for the tune up and switch, the hubby and i both have bad backs and no garage which is why i've sent it to the dealers
I also heard about this recall on the morning news

Not to be a bonehead about it, but it would seem then the only difference between our engine and the ones listed for the recalled cars is the motor mounts? Just wondering, it seems odd.

Do we 2K+ supercharged 3.8 owners have a chance of getting included in this recall??

Not unless you own a Grand Prix or Regal. Bonneville's aren't affected by this recall.

So you believe that Baileyjack got incorrect information from his dealer about an upcoming new recall list which would include the Bonneville?

I had a friend call me on Tuesday to give me a heads-up that he had heard something about the Bonnevilles being included on the recall list.

Odd coincidence.

I agree. That doesn't make a lot of sense.
