Ownership of Content

Post by Tony94 »

The Terms of Use of this site does not address content ownership. Am I correct in assuming that legally my posts remain under my copyright, all rights reserved?

I suggest you are severely "mistaken" (I am not a lawyer (IANAL) though). Copyright and Geneva Convention come to mind. This topic is of paramount importance on any site, for any organization or any company utilizing or benefiting from the content of others. You indicated forfeiture of rights. Please be specific of forfeiture in regards to the context of pontiacbonnevilleclub posts by users of the site.

Public Domain, Tony. It doesn't have to be clearly spelled out here.

We (the Owner and Administration of this site) have full legal rights to use your information that you willfully publicly post on this Forum. This is true on all internet forums and other forms of public posting sites across the internet. You post it here to SHARE. That's the whole point. Please look up the definition of the word 'forum'.
