Questions about this mod-
If in fact the SSei sits 1" higher, how would I lower the car back down, and are there any negative effect in lower a car?
What else is needed to install this on a 01 SSEi:
Sway bars front and rear- can I use rubber bushing from the GXP or SSEi? what mounting hardware is needed. links bolts nuts and so on...
Struts, Shocks, springs, what other pieces part hardware is needed? bushing, bearings, mounts.
I have a source for most of these parts but it is not local, and I want to request all needed part with a single request.
Thanks

You can't lower the car. I'd like to see before and after pics of Pat's car from the side, on a level surface, to see if the "lift" is noticeable.
Bye Bye:

I'd bet the springs have seated and it sits lower now.

Re: GXP Suspension 56K
True, it really depends on how many miles the car you've taken the springs from have on them. If it was totalled w/ 5k on it, then they'll still settle some. If it's got 90k, they might settle a little, due to being moved and what-not, but not as much as a new spring will.

LOTS of Mods
Re: GXP Suspension 56K
it has settled a little but its still higher than it was stock, not notacible if i didnt tell you.
also to 2001 SSEi
For the sway bars you will need thr FE5 Center Links both front and rear because the sway bar is physically larger, you can reuse the endlinks.
you could opt to install new strut and shock mounts, i didnt because mine were almost new. Other than that its a direct swap

Great info! and good mod! I'm still riding very smooth in both my SLE and SSEI, but when they start to show some wear this is definitely the way to go!
