intake manifold leak with milky oil

i have an intake manifold leak and milky oil... should i just replace intake manifold gasket or should i also be looking at the heads? my car is a 1992 SSEi. i just had the intake manifold gaskets replaced with gaskets from gm 3 months ago at a local garage that that i dont plan on going back to any time soon

i forgot to mention the antifreeze is clean and the car doesnt over heat

Sounds like the head gaskets went now. Don't drive it until you get it fixed.

I have to agree it sounds like a head gasket issue

I have yet to see a confirmed failure of head gaskets in almost 7 years with this Club. If you doubt me, do a compression check.

Your LIM gaskets are leaking. That is the most likely cause. Take it back to the shop that did the work 3 months ago and have them fix their mistakes.

ill do the compression test to check the head gaskets. How much is involved in changing the gaskets myself? I have the tools needed to do it but i havent taken any of these engines apart... yet. Ive changed head gaskets in fords and cavaleers so i got the basics already. I dont want to take the car back to the garage since they couldnt even check spark plugs in my girlfriends grand prix and i ended up just doing a major tune-up myself. (that was after i got my car back)

There is a Techinfo article that describes the work involved in changing out the UIM and LIM gaskets in the newer Series II engine. Getting down to the LIM gaskets will be about the same amount of work in the older Series I supercharged. Here is the link: Change UIM/LIM gaskets
