Well I am glad you got your car back and in good running order. I hope it solved you performance issue. Yes you should push for a full refund especially with the modifications your mechanic had to do. Why didn't he perform this modification to the one that burst? If he did, you could of at least got your car back sooner. Anyway, if the seller won't give you a refund then maybe your purchase came with a buyer protection option. Get ebay involved if you have to. You can also resort to a chargeback if you used a credit card. Oh well, my fingers are crossed that you are good to go. On a side note, I have a '90 Bonneville and it has about a foot of rubber fuel line for both the supply and return lines in the engine bay. I never had any problem and I just replaced them last week. You just plain got unlucky for a while. Hope you have many more miles of trouble free driving.

I explained the situation to the people at Fine Lines, and they issued a full refund. That was more than fair. I guess that brings this matter to a close. Thanks again for all of your help.
