Some have been to this show before, but it is the big Pontiac show in the Midwest, the second weekend in August (same time as Woodward), hosted by our local group called the Cruising Tigers.

This year, the featured cars are;
- 1964 - 1974 GTO's
- 2004 - 2006 GTO's
- 2008 - 2009 G8's

They have actually reached out to us in the Chicago Holden Connection to get our blessing to have us (there has been some animosity between some of their members and us in the past, so...). So I would like to make a big appearance for the group.

Here is info;
https://www.cruisintigers.com/2018-indi ... -info.html

Obviously ALL Pontiac's are welcome, but GTO and G8's owners will be the prominent on display.

I can't open the link at work. Where is this happening?

I'm getting issues at work too trying to click on it, but it did open eventually.

It is in St. Charles, Illinois at the Pheasant Run Resort. August 10 - 12.

It's at the corner of North Ave. (Route 64) and Kautz Rd. I think it may actually be "technically" my town of West Chicago and not St. Charles, but I think it's advertised as St. Charles. DuPage Airport behind it is 100% West Chicago.

This place is very restrictive sometimes. And even erratic.

One day that site has issues and is blocked. The next it's like nothing happened.

I tried to register Saturday night again and still can't get through on their site.

I tried at work to no avail, and now at home. So I'm not sure what's going on. I posted about it on CHC. Still waiting for a response.

Indeed, another H saved from the scrap heap. though not by much. :lol: It's already come a long way though, and parts are stacking up as time goes on for more surgery. I've also been working on an L67 and built trans for it. The "pile" in question is a 98 Olds 88 Royale LS, painted in a fading hue of Majestic Teal. Image

I don't see that being your "flavor", or are we becoming "Old Man Will"? :booty2:

Still got the Z34?

It may not sound like my flavor, but that's because I haven't added my seasoning yet! :banana: :beerchug:

Yes! Still have the Z34 and the Tahoe! The tan 96 SSEi is still under foot since I sold it to Lucas.

Though the Z looks a little different than when you saw it Lane. 97 LQ1 injectors, 95 LQ1 UIM, tint, and big money reman 96 GTP silver crosslaces, along with GP GXP trailing arms.

Post subject:  Re: 2018 Indian Uprising

So as I mentioned, I registered. I have had some back and forth emails with them in regarding what I needed to register since Holden's are a featured vehicle, do I need to pay something extra? They responded "No" and that once there, they will parade us to a section set aside for them and the CHC. So Ryan, if you want to escape Detroit on Woodward weekend... :)

This is tempting. Depending on how the next couple weeks go I might be down for this.

Just noticed this is the week before Woodward. I put in for the time off for this and it looks like I’ll be able to come just Saturday and Sunday. No way I can get out of work on that Friday.

ok. I'm gonna try to be there Friday afternoon, but both my superiors are on vacation that week and it is close/forecast week, so guess where the apple falls... to me.
