how can u tell if your supercharged is operating normal.
First of all the boost guage starts from -10 to 0 to 10
when i step on the gas, the boost guage starts on the -10 and once i hit like 30 it goes a little over the 0. is that normal 8-[

What does it go to at WOT? (wide open throttle)

should be 6-7psi on a stock engine

You need to test it at Wide Open Throttle, "gunning it" as you say.

The gauges numbers are indications of boost in pounds per square inch.

8psi isn't unheard of stock, so don't be surprised, but that will depend on outside temperatures and humidity. It'll be lower this time of year in most places. Humidity and heat make it worse.

FYI, boost levels are related to where your right foot is, not on vehicle speed.

yea, i was noticing that. I (floored) gunned it in the highway for about 4 sec today and it went to about 4. and as soon as i let go of the paddle, the boost went down. So I finally know how it works, thankx guys.
