From what I've read the only place I can get it is from the dealer (and that it also smells rancid). Is there a substitute oil for it? Also I am wondering if an additive can be run with the oil like Lucas oil stabilizer.

Don't use anything but actual supercharger oil.

If I can chime in with a couple questions how often do you change it and how do you do it (My FSM is not operating)?

There's a coupler in there. I'd wonder about what any additives do to it. I don't know what the material is, but it's a composite, or phenolic or something. You don't want whatever fluid is in there degrading it.

ok. but can I put in a small amount of Lucas? Just want to keep the gears wet as they mesh.

The supercharger oil is almost essentially cooking oil. It keeps the gears slippery fine by itself.

Don't mess with it. Change the fluid, but don't add anything....
