Ahhh... raining... and as usual I have issues with my 205K 2003 Bonneville SLE(MY BABY) I do ALL MY OWN WORK! So today I come out from work and the fob won't do it's thing. No big deal, I put the key in to unlock and go about my business. Tonight I went out to go somewhere and trunk is open. Now I think back to this morning, it was open from when I got home last night. I just blew it off as I was carrying stuff in and must have hit button. But now I know, something is just not right. It has opened 4 more times in a couple hours. Not sure where to start looking. OH and the 3rd time I grabbed my keys and the darn fob worked! So, what I'm thinking, when I used the key to open doors, did I do some maneuver to open trunk and now whatever electronics that uses was shot, because it has NEVER been used that way? Meaning I've never used the key to open any doors before. :-) I love my Bonnie!!! I just can't drive an hour to work with the trunk having a mind of it's own HAHA HELP!!! Thanks in advance guys!

Well I worked on a grand am that would pop its trunk every time it rained. When it would rain water would leak into the fuse box and get the trunk pop relay wet. I guess that's an easy place to look. Good luck!

Hasn't popped open since I posted!! And the FOB is still working. I'm guessing the rain, because it flashed flooded and I hit some deep run offs!! :dontknow:
