I have a 94 ssei and sometimes the driver side window will not go down so if i just open the door and slam it the window goes down just fine what could this be? I have no clue and how much would it cost to fix

sounds like a bad connection somewhere in the door. Pull the door panel off and inspect the wiring.

I agree with harofreak00 I would check the wire connections to the window switch.
