That was two weeks ago.

Got the new alternator last week and installed it when I got home last night.
The old one was so bad, they couldn't rebuilt it and had to replace the entire rotor.
I had to drill out the wire eye connections from 1/4 to 5/16".

$330. !

I haven't had time to drive it yet. My daughter is due in the door at any minute with her beater Neon that just drove two days from Edmonton. More to fix.......

Ya, well I figured on a $100 rebuild that was supposed to take a day.

Just changed the oil and charged the battery. Sound real good now. Itching to burn a bit of asphalt.
