I read somewhere in these forums that idle pressure should be 40 psi mine is higher what would cause that?

These gauges aren't perfectly accurate. That looks like a good reading. I wouldn't worry about it.

A new-ish or well taken care of engine. What was the engine temperature when that picture was taken? It will be high on startup and as the engine and oil warm up it will go down.

temp was prob only 100 just turned it on drove it two feet to fill gas and then back again. (i work at gas station)

Yeah, that's why. That's normal for cold idle, hot idle will likely be around 40 PSI. Either way, it's normal.
