Year and Trim: 2000 pontiac bonnville ssei. what is trim?
I have a 2000 bonny ssei with a bad rear shock. Are they easy to replace and how much do they cost.

Get a pair of Monroe Max-Air's from your favorite parts store. They're about $70 for a pair (come in boxes with 2 shocks in each) and they take a half hour to fix in your driveway on jackstands. Remove the 3 bolts and the air fitting, reverse and you're done.

Year and Trim: 2004 GXP - plus a handful of other Bonnevilles
2 nuts up top inside the trunk, 2 bolts on the bottom of the shock.

I'd also recommend replacing the shock mounts while you're in there, they are about $25 each.
