I am contemplating a minor project for the interior. I am looking at approaching it from 2 different directions.
Option #1
Swapping out my dash panel with that of a GXP to get the silver backed gauges. According to Andrew mileage chip is not swappable. finding one with my exact mileage is *dang* near impossible
AND there is an issue with low coolant being flashed on the DIC as well... So mod is required...Option #2
taking both panels apart. remove the needles, remove the overlays, swap overlay, reinstall needles. Keeps mileage, no DIC messages, no "mods"
I did option 2 to my Yukon when I installed an Escalade overlay (just bought the overlay off Amazon. I know in our world aftermarket generally does not exist....
