Year and Trim: 2000 ssei gone but not forgotten
So I have acquired some cloth seats for a project (more on that later) but they are pretty dirty, how do y'all clean yours?

I was almost thinking of stripping the skins and pressure washing them. Or maybe running them through the wash. Any better ideas?

Yeah... this is a budget project of sorts, plush with all the truck work I gotta do I can't really spend and extra.

I guess I am going to strip the skins and scrub them with the water hose

Yeah I wound up just using some gain in a bucket and a rubber scrub brush. One seat came perfectly clean then other still looks a little dirty I will try again some other time now im off to make a thread about the install I just finished

If you don't mind rinsing really well, plain ol" 409 cleaner is magnificent for cloth seats, etc. It usually bubbles a lot and you have to really rinse it, even if you only use a small amount. It beats the Hell out of grease, dirt, and oils.

Another goodie that's easy to find is Simple Green if you like the smell but I don't think it cleans as well as 409.
