Hey I'm new to the forum. I have a 95 ssei that want to do a cold air intake smaller supercharger pulley 1.8 roller rockers, and exhaust. I was gona get a magnaflow muffler,and run 2.5 inch exhaust form the cat back. Should I remove the resonator or go bigger on the exhaust? |

I do not promote the removal of the resonator without at least putting something else back in it's place. It helps make the exhaust less raspy. 2.5" is sufficient for the power level you're at. Unless you're looking at 2.5" stainless steel mandrel bent exhaust, you're better off keeping what you have if it's still OE, just clean it up and paint it with exhaust paint. The OE cat-back was stainless and 2.5" already, and it doesn't have crinkle bends. |
