So, I parked the Bonnie at the edge of my sister's driveway today and a while later she decided to take her Sebring for a drive. Well, she didn't look before she backed out and smashed right into the front right corner of my nice little car.

The damage to hers:

Now the horrible part, the damage to Christine:

The Sebring half an hour later:

Turns out Chrysler makes plastic cars. A little bit of pushing from behind the panel and it popped out, a little rubbing with a dry cloth and the white paint dissapeared. Just a little spot about 1/4 inch in diameter where the paint chipped off.

Nice repair! I was gonna recommend that you pop that out asap, but I just needed to scroll a little further ;)

She certainly couldn't have used the "blindspot" excuse!

You scared me at first John. :bluetwitch:

Nice upper cut to that Chrysler. That'll teach it for getting too close to Christine! :nutkick:

I was about to get upset. I saw that car change over WCBF and I know how good it looked. From the title and and color, I was expecting the worse.

Glad it was just minor damage.

You would think with an open convertable that she would have seen your car.

Yeah, Sebring verts are about the floppiest car from the past 15 years. I used to drive them all the time when I worked at a rental place.

Bonnevilles are the ish when it comes to frontal impacts. My Brother borrowed my 95 shortly after I got Big Bad, and he rear-ended a Ranger that smashed on his brakes in front of him on an entrance ramp. The Ranger's bumper was pretty much smashed, but the Bonnie only had a small spot where the paint was cracked.

Just some sunlight reflecting in the tailpipe.

She was more upset about her car, she did the same thing in a parking lot a few months ago and it cost her $3000 to fix her car. I would have thought she'd learn from that but I guess not. She's not blonde for nothing. :-#

Must...resist...white curse...comment.

Good thing it didn't suffer more damage, but too bad the Chrysler didn't get its bumper permanently disfigured for it.

On a side note...hope she keeps synthetic in that sludge machine. :laughing3:

Yah, a new bumper would have been nice.

Synthetic?? Not likely, she don't keep cars long enough to worry about sludge.
