Re: Electrical issues
It worked!!! Somewhat... Did exactly what you guys said, spent 3 bucks for a bunch if butt connectors, and cut away the corrosion. And splices the wires together, shoved Vaseline in the ends of the butts for a sealer for reassurance that water won't get in there, ten taped those two wires, then ...

Re: Electrical issues
Lift up your carpet behind the driver's seat - you might find that it's a bit damp.
I don't remember exactly, as it has been a few years for me, but in the wire channel that runs behind your driver seat, there should be a set of tan wires. If you follow them, you should reach a point where they ...

Re: Electrical issues
Okay here's what I did. I took off the front passenger side panel and dug up the door module... Now from my understanding.. This door module has 4 plugs, in it. The relay and then 3 others that I'm not sure of the function. I get power from the relay harness that connects to the module, but when I ...

Re: Digital gas meter
My car does the same thing.. what you should do, is drop the gas tank, and check the sending unit. GM did a butthole job when makin the sending unit, thats what i need to do to mine. it'll be accurat until down to like 3/8's tank then it'll start going back uo and it gets hairy.. especially when it ...

Re: Two sort of quick questions
You would have to be pretty in love with your bonnie to try and do a swap like that ! Switching your down pipe to a 2.5 or 3 inch catless dp (depending on the motor) can make it a smidge more throaty. As far as brands of muffler that would be better than other... i heard a grand prix with a nice ...

Re: Two sort of quick questions
There may have been a couple manual trans swaps done on another 3800 site, but I assure you that you won't be buying a simple kit to swap a few parts.

Re: BONNIE IS FINALLY FINISHED!
Realistically, I worked on it two hours a day, tops. Monday - Friday, so probably spent a total 30 hours on it. So about 4-5 shop days. Which isn't bad for a body amateur right?! And do the work yourself man! You'll be so much happier! All you need is the right sandpaper, some all-metal (what i used ...

Re: LED Hookup Question
Did you check all the fuses for something that might be your solution? Idk how much different the fuses for the SE and ssei are.. But idk if that's even possible.. And if it was it might only be possible to hook it up to one door, like strictly the drivers side.. Etc.. I could be wrong but idk

Re: Good ol' bonnie transformation! (somewhat)
Is the method for fixing the hood taking a wire wheel the the bottom side of the front lip?
I took the mule skinner to the bottom of it, it's a little softer on the metal but just rough enough to get the surface rust off. Then I put some rust-ilium on it to treat it and kill the rest of it, then ...
