From every thread I ran into dealing with the 00-05 Bonneville, I ran it the correct way (stock cooler running bottom inlet, top outlet).
The cooler I'm running is 11 x 11 x 3/4" and it goes from the radiator brace bar in front of the condenser all the way over to the edge of the condenser (of ...

Installed Trans Cooler, still seems hot
Long time, no see guys!
I installed a Hayden 679 transmission cooler on my car. It is mounted on the passenger side, in front of the condenser. I went from the top port of the radiator (using Hayden 397 adapter) to the bottom of the cooler, then from the top of the cooler back to the stock top hose ...

Re: 2002 SSEi (VERY pic heavy) - update on P.2 & P.3
Thanks guys! I couldn't be happier with how the supercharger turned out. The blue turned out way better than I was expecting. I just didn't want to leave it black and look like every other wrinkle paint job.
Up next is trans pan drop and filter change. Hopefully that makes the shifting a little ...

Re: 2002 SSEi (VERY pic heavy) - update on P.2
In the end, the supercharger was painted and rebuilt, along with the fuel rail, thermostat housing, and all the bolt heads being painted a metallic silver (Rustoleum paint). I went with this paint scheme because I thought it would look cool with the contrasting colors.

Let the assembly begin!
Sorry for the lack of pictures, but once you get going and the excitement and nerves kick in, pictures are the last thing on your mind.

Let the cleaning of my parts begin!!!
Soaked the intake and blower housing in Purple Power to get them cleaned out. Besides that, all I used was a parts cleaning brush.

Intake Gasket Time!!!!!
This was all done as preventative maintenance (no coolant in the oil) and because I wanted to.

I think the site looks good Andrew. I like the page of Bonneville's sold, but I also like the feature of rolling over the image to see the car stripped.

Probably drive the truck all winter, then get something in the spring. Amirite?
That's pretty much the plan, all depending on how long it takes to sell the GXP... But that's the plan, drive the truck through the winter and find something in the spring unless I find something I really like during ...

:btruestory: Yes, that is the Boulder Taphouse address. And Old Chicago is literally next door so if they decide to change their mind you won't be lost lol. I recommend taking 94 all the way thru the cities instead of the 694 bypass. 694 has alot of construction going on right now. I too will be ...

If we all split earlier, that just means I get home earlier! lol
Google Maps put it at 3hrs 35min from here to the address. I still plan on leaving early just so I can take my time and can deal with traffic/road construction (because it is still that season!).
I'm planning on detailing my car ...

Thanks!
Sweet! I don't have to leave at the crack of dawn this time either! (not that I mind getting up that early) I'll probably have to head out by 7pm though to make it home at a decent time.

Re: What is your current main car?
The SSEi is my DD. I drive it primarily because it gets better MPG's than either truck.
Before snow-fall (which hopefully isn't until after Thanksgiving this year) the K1500 will get put away and the ZR2 will come back out (need to do intake gaskets on it first). I'm not sure what I'll drive ...

Re: For anyone who has water leaks - here are your solutions
I never did find my trunk leak. I replaced the seal and that didn't do it. Couldn't see any obvious places. My solution was drill two small holes where the water pooled first and POR-15 the spare tire well. I should probably check how that's been doing....

Lots of work has gone into this car lately but I'm sure it's all been well worth it!

So far, all of it has been. :)
That's an amazing job. Did you have any problem with vibration at highway speeds before changing out the parts, and if so, did it go away?

Re: Non-Supercharged engine in SSEi?
Memory Seats, HUD and Stabilitrak are the big SSEi-only stuff, IIRC. 00+ at least.
Huh. Didn't know memory seats were SSEi only. Makes sense that HUD and Stalilitrak are though.
00+ didn't vary *too* much. 03+ SLE could have Monsoon, but I've only seen a couple.
