2005 has failure of locks; trunk pops open, etc;

A friend has a 2005 Bonneville where the locks/ releases are mal-functioning. Trunk will open on its own, door locks will click constantly, glove box difficult to latch. Any ideas? Someone said there are modules for the different release/ lock mechanisms that might need replacing.

Thanks!

Re: 1968 Pontiac Bonneville

Hey, that's a nice clean 68 4dr ht! The photo you showed is a 69 bonneville. 14 inch wheels make buying tires a challenge- get a set of 15 inch wheels for lower cost tire solution.

Don't know what you paid for it but its a good car...enjoy it. You won't see another like this at your local cruise.

In 66, I don't believe you could get a two-tone interior. There was a metallic blue (light med. blue), turquise blue ...

2002 front door seals leak!

I bought a 2002 low mileage bonne in March. The rear floor pans have gotten wet several times now. The leak is in the front door seals. I have sat in vehicle during a rain storm and watched water flow over the door seal and onto the carpet. When the doors are opened, i can see the water which has ...

Good to be among fellow Bonneville owners!

I have been a Pontiac fan since my father became one in 1968...his first new car was a 68 safari wagon. I love the full-size cars (Bonneville, GrandVille, Catalina, Grand Prix) especially the Bonneville. I have owned a 66 convertible since 1989 and had a perfect 99 SE (son totalled it...) and now a ...
