It does not run currently, I had to have it towed to my house. Im about the take the fuel rail off to check the injectors for clogs. So, do I really need an OBD code reader to see what the problem is?

So, last week I used a bottle of STP fuel injector cleaner in my tank at my weekly fill up. Two days later (maybe 35 miles) on my way to work the engine just stops, first no acceleration, then no power steering or breaks. A friend said that I essentially gave my car a stroke my dislodging debris ...

Do you mean the steering pump is just going dead? Because I have no performance issues or leaks otherwise. What is the average cost of replacing that?mdrew wrote:sounds like the power steering pump

Its sort of a moaning/whining noise. It almost sounds like my car is straining to turn.

I doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it makes my cringe a bit. I have no trouble at all steering or turning for that matter, It just sounds horrible. Ive repeatedly checked the power steering fluid levels and the are fine a bit high even. When I had my car in the shop a few months back ...

Could anyone tell me the part number for the ambient temp sensor? Mine is about 43 degrees off give or take, Can I order it fairly cheap off eBay?
