I don't have much against the Northstars, it just seems that the problems are worse when they happen and they happen all at once.

My car only has 78xxx miles and the vibration is very annoying. It has cost me about 300 so far but now the cost will be on the dealership and the warrenty company. I am taking a rental car until they figure it out...

They remounted the tires and re balanced them...said all fixed...Of course it isnt...back to them tommorow...another rental telling them to keep it until problemis fixed...

Replaced the tires still have the vibration back to the dealer again....
I had this issue with my 01 Aurora (another G body with Northstar based power train). As CMNTMXR57 said before...RUN AWAY!
There was an issue with these cars that GM knows about.

They have concluded that it was the tires now working on the tire company to warranty the tires

In the shop today because I am having the same vibration issue...last week they told me it was the rear rotors were out of round...what that had to do with vibration at 70 MPH I don't know...but did not fix the problem...

I have had mine for about a year has 76k. I have spent about $100 on it outside of normal maintainace. The dealer has spent $1000 fixing things like AC and brakes. The warrenty company has spent over 3500 fixing leaks. I get a rental car everytime I drop it off at the dealer, paid 2000 for the ...

Just got my car back yesterday with the same service....10 days of car rental and 2880 in parts and labor...my cost 100... That warranty has now more than paid for it self with still another 2 years and 35k to go....BTW they had to pull the engine to do the lower crankcase manifold...

Not sure if I would recommend 55W, you're going to be stretching the limits of a projector meant for lower lumen halogen bulbs, and will most likely have glare issues. A 35W H3 HID kit will already be pretty bright and glare won't be an issue.

NEVER, EVER, EVER, buy an extended warranty that ISN'T an extended of your manufacturer's warranty!
They are utter, absolute nightmares for you, the service department, and anyone else involved! Since this is a GM vehicle, ONLY get a GMPP.

Tight fit if you are over 6'1" and 200 pounds.....

To get a very nice gxp 10k ....for 10 k you will have one of the nicest ssei's and last you a very long time....Is it the power that you want or the looks ....if looks find an 2005 SLE looks like a gxp with a better engine...of course that's what I wanted and I was unable to find a low mileage one ...
